| 12 Most Common Mistakes People Make About Bible Prophecy and the Endtimes (With 12 responsible apocalyticism responses) Test Everything. Hold on to the good" --1 Thessalonians 5:21 by John Noe ________________________________________ 1. LIFTING "THE LAST DAYS" OUT OF THEIR 1ST CENTURY, HISTORICAL CONTEXT AND RE- APPLYING THEM TO OUR TIMES, TODAY. One problem: every mention of "the last days" or equivalents [last times, last hour] in the New Testament refers to the 1st Century. There are no exceptions. Check: Hebrews 1:2; Acts 2:17; 1 timothy 4:1; 2 Timothy 3:1; James 5:3; 2 Peter 3:3; Jude 18; 1 John 2:18. 2. SEPARATING DANIEL'S 70TH WEEK FROM HIS OTHER 69 WEEKS, INSERTING A TIME GAP OF INDETERMINATABLE LENGTH AND CALLING IT A FUTURE, 7-YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD. Daniel's 70 Weeks of years [490 years] were literally, perfectly and sequentially fulfilled, within the time frame of his four world empires. Its starting point was the Decree of Artaxerxes in 457 B.C.. Its finishing point was in 34 A.D., when the time determined exclusively upon the Jews was over and the gospel was free to go to the Gentiles. There is no scriptural warrant nor precedent for inserting a gap of any kind or duration. 3. CLAIMING THE "THIS GENERATION" IN JESUS' OLIVET DISCOURSE, WHICH WOULD EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING HE DESCRIBED, MEANS SOME OTHER, YET-FUTURE GENERATION. Every New Testament use [36] of the phrase "this generation" always refers to the generation then-and- there present in the 1st Century. See, for example: (Matthew 23:36; 11:16; 12:41, 42; 16:4). Jesus' usage in Matthew 24 was no different. He never mentioned nor inferred any other generation diferent from that of those he was addressing. 4. ASSUMING THE BOOK OF REVELATION [OR MOST OF IT] IS A FORECAST OF FUTURE WORLD EVENTS STILL UNFULFILLED. This assumption violates what the book of Revelation says about itself. In both its prologue and epilogue, it states, concerning the whole of its prophecy, that it was: "at hand," "obeyable" and, finally, "not to be sealed up." Revelation's total relevance starts in the lifetime of its original hearers. But it doesn't stop there. 5. SPINNING OFF ATTRIBUTES OF DANIEL'S FOURTH WORLD EMPIRE, INSERTING A TIME GAP AND CALLING IT A FIFTH WORLD EMPIRE...A YET-TO-COME,"REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE." Daniel's two visions (Daniel 2 & 7) portrayed four successive world empires, not five. The were: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and the old Roman empire. Daniel places the coming of one like the son of man [the Messiah] and the establishment of His everlasting kingdom during the time of this fourth world empire, the old Roman Empire. This was all fulfilled, exactly, without gaps, gimmicks or any interpretive high jinx. 6. TEACHING THAT 1ST CENTURY SOCIAL, POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS CONDITIONS MUST BE RE-ENACTED FOR ENDTIMES FULFILLMENT TO OCCUR, AGAIN. Why go through this needless redundancy and gyration? The source of almost all endtimes error is in the failure of interpreters to recognize the significance of the historical events surrounding the predicted destruction of Jerusalem, the Jewish temple and biblical Judaism in 70 A.D. ...the real Endtimes. 7. LIMITING THE COMINGS OF JESUS TO ONLY TWO, OR THREE. The popular use of so-called "Second Coming" terminology has conditioned us to a flawed, two-advent mindset. Not only is this not the terminology of Scripture, it's not its pattern or concept, either. The many comings of Jesus run like a thread through both the Old and New Testaments. Many different and varied types of His comings are also promised. Remember, "hope deferred makes the heart [the church] sick" (Proverbs 13:12). 8. POSTPONING ALL OR PART OF THE COMING [I.E. CONSUMMATION] OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Daniel prophesied the coming of ONLY ONE, everlasting Kingdom of God. It was to take place in the days of the fourth world empire [the Roman empire]. That kingdom is THE kingdom which John the Baptist and Jesus proclaimed as "at hand." What's more, Jesus' coming in power and glory consummated that kingdom when the old Judaic system was completely destroyed. All this occurred exactly as and when Jesus said--within the lifetime of those then living (Matthew 10:23; 16:28; 24:30-34; 26:64). 9. MISUSING JESUS' STATEMENT ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO KNOW THE "DAY OR THE HOUR" OF HIS COMING TO IMPLY NOT BEING ABLE TO KNOW THE MONTH, YEAR OR EVEN THE GENERATION. Scripture is precise in its use of time statements. For 1st Century believers, not being able to know the "day or hour" was no excuse. Jesus emphatically warned "when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies...get out" (Luke 21:20-21). Armies surrounded Jerusalem four times in 66, 67, 68 and, lastly, in 70 A.D.... Those who read this sign and acted in time, escaped. Those who didn't, or wouldn't, suffered the wrath of God's judgment at this particular, time-restricted and end-of-the-age coming of Jesus. 10. SUBSCRIBING TO A PAGAN, "END-OF-THE-WORLD" PARADIGM. Do you know what the Bible says about an "end of the world?" NOTHING. What do the historic creeds say? Again, NOTHING. What the Bible actually says is: o World without end, Amen -- Ephesians 3:21 KJV o The earth remains forever -- Ecclesiastes 1:4 o End of the age -- Matthew 13:39, 49; 24:3 11. CONCEDING BY DEFAULT THAT ALL 1ST CENTURY IMMINENCY EXPECTATIONS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT WRITERS, THE EARLY CHURCH BELIEVERS AND JESUS HIMSELF PROVED FALSE. If our 1st Century ancestors in the faith, and even Jesus Himself, were mistaken about something as important as the coming again of Jesus and "the end of all things is at hand" (1 Peter 4:7) as being imminent in their lifetimes, how can we now trust them for passing on any other aspects of the faith? They were not mistaken. 12. BUYING INTO A NEW TEACHING IN CHURCH HISTORY [LAST 150 YEARS] OF AN ESCAPE FROM THIS PLANET, FROM THIS LIFE'S TRIBULATIONS AND FROM KINGDOM RESPONSIBILITIES. The relatively new teaching of a "rapture-removal" from planet Earth is a distortion of key scriptures historically interpreted to refer to a general resurrection. Jesus specifically prayed against the human weakness for removal (John 17:15). And His prayer is still in effect. The Coming of Christ in 70 A.D. By Gary Amirault ________________________________________ There are thousands, perhaps millions, of people who, after reading the Bible, have come to the same conclusion to which one of the most famous atheists, Bertrand Russell, came . He felt Jesus couldn't be Who He said He was because the things He and His apostles said would happen in their time, didn't happen. Below are listed a few of the many passages they would point to and say these things were not fulfilled according to the plain reading of the English text. This list comes from a little booklet entitled, "Can God Tell Time," by Don Preston. • Matt. 10:23--Jesus said He would return in the lifetime of His disciples. • Matt. 16:27-28--Jesus said He would return with His angels to judge all men before every one standing there died. • Matt. 24:29-34--Jesus said He would return in the clouds with His angels--in that generation. • Acts 3:19--Peter said Jesus would return when all the Old Covenant prophecies were fulfilled. If the Old Prophesies have not been fulfilled, the Old Covenant is still in effect. (Matthew 5:17-18) • Romans 13:12--Paul said "the day is at hand." That was said 1900 years ago! • 1 Cor. 7:28-31--Paul said "the fashion of this world is passing away," and "the time is short." Again, this was stated 1900 years ago to that generation. • Hebrews 9:28, 10:37--The writer said Christ would appear a second time for salvation and then asserted "in a very, very little while He that will come, and will not tarry." Is 1900 years a "little while?" • James 5:7-9--James urged his readers to be faithful "until the coming of the Lord," he says "The coming of the Lord is at hand," and "The judge is standing right at the door." • 1 John 2:15-18--John said the world was passing away and "it is the last hour." Again, the last hour was 1900 years ago! • Revelation--this book says no less than ten times that its predictions "must shortly come to pass," were "at hand," were to happen "quickly," there would be "no more delay," etc., etc. Millions of people have read the Bible and said, "no more delay," "shortly," "quickly," "day is at hand," and "it is the last hour," cannot refer to thousands of years! These people have also had problems with Bible teachers taking scriptures like Daniel's 70 weeks and chopping the last 7 years of the prophecy and separating it by thousands of years from the first 69 weeks! They say if one does this with these kinds of scriptures, then one can turn the Bible into whatever they want. As a result of Bible teachers twisting scriptures like the ones above and relegating them to our time, many sincere seekers have abandoned Christianity as an institution which declares truth. They have come to the conclusion that since the church teaches that Christ has not yet come back in His second coming, then Jesus and His apostles were false prophets. Therefore, they cannot put their faith and hope in Christianity. In the days ahead, we are going to look at all these scriptures and many more to see if, in fact, they were not fulfilled exactly as stated in the very generation to which Jesus was speaking. We are going to see, Jesus did return to that generation and fulfill everything He and His apostles said was "right at the door." This world needs light. Many have abandoned any hope in Christianity, not because Jesus Christ missed it, but because many Bible teachers and preachers have missed it, big time! People, you are going to have so much joy seeing the Bible come together like it has never been seen before. We are indeed a blessed people and we are going to be a blessing to the world. This study will be lengthy and cannot be completely discussed in Dew. The magazine is not designed to do this. We suggest those who want to study this out completely to do the following: 1. Get a copy of Josephus. Many Christian publishers have produced this work. I recommend trying to find an out-of-print version produced by Zondervan publishing edited by Cornfeld. It may be difficult to locate a copy, but it will be worth it if you find it. Most good seminaries will have more than one version of Josephus. He was a Jewish Priest and military commander who was captured by the Romans just prior to the destruction of the Jewish Temple in 70 A.D. 2. Read the section entitled War of the Jews. You will be amazed! 3. Order the tapes produced by Tentmaker entitled The Rapture of 70 A.D.. These tapes capture the history of Israel and Rome from approximately 30 A.D. to 73 A.D. and connect them with the sayings of Jesus and the apostles while tying Josephus into it. 4. Read future sections of Dew that will deal with the subject. Just a little side remark on the tapes The Rapture of 70 A.D.. We do not teach the "rapture." This title was selected to attract those who do believe in the "any day now rapture." In 70 A.D. when the Jews were trapped in Jerusalem by the Roman Army, a prophet prophesied that God was going to deliver them. He told them to come to the Temple, the House of God and there God was going to "catch them away." There they waited to be "raptured away" by the God of Israel. Read and see their fate as narrated by Josephus: "A false prophet was the occasion of these people's destruction, who had made a public proclamation in the city that very day, that God commanded them to get up upon the temple, and that there they should receive miraculous signs of their deliverance. Now, there was then a great number of false prophets suborned by the tyrants to impose upon the people, who denounced this to them, that they should wait for deliverance from God; and this was in order to keep them from deserting, and that they might be buoyed up above fear and care by such hopes. Now, a man that is in adversity does easily comply with such promises; for when such a seducer makes him believe that he shall be delivered from those miseries which oppress him, then it is that the patient is full of hopes of such deliverance. Thus were the miserable people persuaded by these deceivers, and such as belied God himself; while they did not attend, nor give credit, to the signs that were so evident, and did so plainly foretell their future desolation; but like men infatuated, without either eyes to see or minds to consider, did not regard the denunciations that God made to them." Josephus then gave a list of many supernatural signs that God gave Israel, which they twisted to their own destruction. It is interesting to note those who were deceived into thinking God was going to rapture them were burned in their "House of God" which was full of their riches. Josephus writes: "They also burnt down the treasury-chambers, in which was immense quantities of money, and an immense number of garments, and other precious goods, there reposited; and, to all in a few words, there it was that the entire riches of the Jews were heaped up together, while the rich people had there built themselves chambers, (to contain such furniture). Their riches and their bodies were burned to ashes and blown away by the wind. I suppose the ashes of their bodies being blown away by the wind could qualify for the term "rapture," or "caught up to meet the Lord in the air," but I don't think those who believe in a "any day now rapture" have this in mind. Who knows, perhaps the escapist mentality of today will meet the same fate. The church is certainly the richest institution materially in the entire world and there are certainly many prophets in the land predicting a "rapture" from the tribulations that are to come upon the world. It has used may trickeries to get people to put their money into the church. I see great similarities between the spiritual state of Israel at the end of its age and the present time which many people seem to feel is the end of the "church age." The key question seems to be the ability to read the signs. The majority of the Jews read the signs wrong, which produced their destruction. There was a small group who read them right. They escaped the destruction and were allowed to enter into a new period of time. The Old had indeed, passed away. They were allowed to make that transition from law to grace. They were the ones who God would use to begin the process of setting up His True kingdom. They left Israel behind and went to the Gentiles. They went to a place named Pella in Syria. They were believers in the Messiah. The above mentioned tape series tells how they escaped. I am so excited about the things our Father is unveiling for us. We should be grateful to be alive in such a day as this. Truly, we can be messengers of glad tidings. While "church" clings to its buildings, land, and material wealth, you are free to give to the world your spiritual riches in Christ Jesus. Rejoice, ye new heavens and earth! THE “SECOND” COMING “?” According to J. Preston Eby: -"It may surprise many people to learn that the Bible nowhere speaks of the “second coming” of Christ. We must purge our conversation, purify our terminology, and remove from our consciousness the multitude of non-scriptural and extra biblical expressions carried over from Mystery Babylon." ( Looking For His Appearing, J. Preston Eby ) -We have been taught by man to think in terms of the first and second coming of Christ, rather than looking to the Bible which speaks of the progressive revelation of Jesus Christ, and of His progressive comings. This thought is brought out in Micah 5:2. -Micah 5:2 states, … Who is to be ruler in Israel, Whose GOINGS FORTH have been of old, from everlasting … ( Notice GOINGS is plural ) Let us now arrive at the mature understanding of the GOINGS FORTH of the Lord, for the Bible speaks of many comings of the Lord. -The Lord comes: -WITH CLOUDS -AS LIGHTNING -AS A THIEF -AS THE BRIDEGROOM -AS THE MORNING STAR -AS THE SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS ARISING -IN RESURRECTION POWER -IN FLAMING FIRE -AS REFINER’S FIRE AND FULLERS’ SOAP -IN THE AIR -AS THE RAIN -ON A WHITE HORSE -AS KING -AS THE CHIEF SHEPHERD -WITH HIS ANGELS -WITH HIS SAINTS -TO HIS SAINTS -IN HIS SAINTS -IN JUDGMENT -WITH REWARDS -WITH A SHOUT -WITH THE VOICE OF THE ARCHANGEL -WITH THE TRUMP OF GOD -TO THE MOUNT OF OLIVES -TO HIS TEMPLE -IN GLORY -AS LORD -IN HIS KINGDOM -AS SEASONS OF REFRESHING -ETC. -ETC. -Are you getting the point yet? We have limited Jesus Christ to a first and second coming ( which words are not even found in the Bible ), and we have totally missed the point of HIS PROGRESSIVE REVELATION TO MANKIND. THESE COMINGS OF THE LORD ARE TO BE CHARACTERIZED AS HIS GOINGS FORTH. -The Greek word "parousia", which occurs twenty-four times in the New Testament, comes from the verb "paremi", which means at hand, or to be present. "Parousia" denotes the presence of one who has already arrived. THE COMING OF THE LORD IS ACTUALLY HIS PRESENCE. James 5:7 states, … Be patient unto the coming ( presence ) of the Lord… -HIS GOINGS FORTH HAVE BEEN OF OLD, FROM EVERLASTING!- THE RAPTURE “?” -Many Christians believe in a rapture of the church. They teach that the body of Christ will be physically caught up into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air ( literally ). Let us examine this teaching to find out if it is truth or tradition. Let us also examine the scripture that is used for this doctrine to see if it is being rightly divided. We will now turn our attention to the words of J. Preston Eby … According to J. Preston Eby: -"It wasn't until the early or mid 1800's that there was any significant group of believers around the world that looked for a "rapture" of the church prior to a seven-year tribulation period. It may come as a shock to some who read these lines, but it is a fact nonetheless, that the "rapture" teaching was NOT taught by the early church, it was NOT taught by the church of the first centuries, it was NOT taught by the Reformers, IT WAS NOT TAUGHT BY ANYONE (except a couple Roman Catholic theologians) UNTIL ABOUT THE YEAR 1830! It began as a Roman Catholic invention! The Jesuit priest Ribera's writings influenced the Jesuit priest Lacunza, Lacunza influenced Irving, Irving influenced Darby, Darby influenced Scofield, Scofield and Darby influenced D. L. Moody, and Moody influenced the early PENTECOSTAL MOVEMENT. How? you ask. The Assemblies of God is today by far the largest Pentecostal denomination in the world. When the Pentecostal movement began at the turn of the century and the Assemblies of God held their first General Council in 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas they were a small movement and didn't have their own Publishing House. They needed Sunday School and study materials for their churches - so where do you suppose they got it? They bought it from Moody Press and had their own cover stitched on it! So what do you think the Assemblies of God people believed? They believed what Moody Bible Institute taught! This had its impact on Pentecostal theology, because in the early years there were practically NO PREMILLENIALISTS IN THE PENTECOSTAL MOVEMENT! Most of the ministers in those early days came from Presbyterian, Methodist, or other historic denominations - men who, being baptized in the Holy Spirit and leaving their denominations, joined themselves to the Assemblies of God or one of the other emerging Pentecostal denominations. That is how the Pentecostal movement became influenced and saturated with the "Secret Rapture" doctrine - by a direct chain right back to the Roman Catholic Church! And now, my friend - you know the REST OF THE STORY! "Rapture" is not a biblical word. Let all of God's people stop speaking of the "rapture." The word "rapture" is not in the scripture and is at best very misleading. If instead of the "rapture" we speak of being caught up in the spirit (Acts 8:39; II Cor. 12:2-4; Rev. 4:1-2), translated into the Kingdom (Col. 1:13), raised up into the heavenlies with Christ (Eph. 2:5-6), and caught up into the throne, the spiritual dimension of the Christ's authority, power and glory (Rev. 4:1-2; Rev. 3:21; Rev. 12: 5) we will rid ourselves of much confusion and carnal delusion, and we will have a much better understanding of present spiritual realities and the immediate program of God." ( Looking For His Appearing, J. Preston Eby ) -Let us look at the scripture that many misinterpret and turn into a rapture doctrine. 1st Thessalonians 4: 17 states, … Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord … The word “rapture” is not to be found in the Bible, but it is in the dictionary. It means: a strong feeling that absorbs the mind; very great joy, lifted high in mind and spirit. It is not so much a physical catching up, but it is a spiritual catching up. The word “clouds” in 1st Thessalonians speaks of PEOPLE, not literal clouds that are in the sky. Remember … The apostle Paul referred to God’s people as a GREAT CLOUD OF WITNESSES ( Hebrews 12:1 ). The word “air” speaks of a place or seat of authority. Satan, at this present time, is the PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR. 1st Thessalonians 4:17 speaks of the RESURRECTION, not a rapture. The sons and daughters of God ( the overcomers ) shall come forth ( at the first resurrection ) with glorified bodies. They will be elevated to the place and position of THE PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR, bringing down the principalities and powers that are now in position as the prince of the power of the air. Those who have gone to be with the Lord are COMING ( not going ) with their glorified bodies. Then those which are alive and remain shall be caught up ( put on immortality ) together with them in the clouds ( speaking of the great cloud of witnesses … God’s people ) to meet the Lord in the air ( the place and position of authority that He occupies ): and so shall we ever be with the Lord ( we shall ever remain in complete and total oneness with Him ) … -As well, it is correct to say that there is a spiritual catching up of the body of Christ going on at this present time. Remember … God has quickened us together with Christ, and has raised us up together, AND MADE US TO SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS ( Ephesians 2:5,6 ) … -COMFORT ONE ANOTHER WITH THESE WORDS!- ANTICHRIST According to Ray Knight: -"Tradition has taught for years that an Antichrist will arise and sit himself in a temple in Jerusalem and declare that he is god. If that wasn’t enough, great theologians have declared that any despot in the world is the Antichrist . . . we’ve had Hitler, Kissinger, Stalin, etc., not forgetting every Pope in his day! Again, when one looks at the Word of God, one will see that there is a difference. *ANTICHRIST means INSTEAD OF CHRIST* The Greek word is ANTICHRISTOS 500 . . . anti 473 = instead of, substitution; CHRISTOS 5547 = the anointed One. . . from CHRIO5548 = to smear with oil. So the meaning of the word translated as ‘antichrist’ . . . it is primarily what is put instead of the anointing by the Anointed One . . . Christ. ‘Anti’, in our everyday language, means something that is against something. This is the effect every time a substitution is made for the true anointing. Many replacements for the anointing have been made and are being made by the church." ( Antichrist, Ray Knight ) -1st John 2:18-22 states, … Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. But you have an unction from the Holy One, and you know all things. I have not written unto you because you know not the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son … 1st John 4:3 states, … And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world … 2nd John 1:7 states, … For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist … 2nd Thessalonians 2:3,4 states, … Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God … -Are you ready for a revelation? THE MAN OF SIN IS INSIDE OF YOU! YOU ARE THE TEMPLE THAT IS BEING TALKED ABOUT IN 2ND THESSALONIANS! Remember … Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit ( 1st Corinthians 6:19 ). STOP LOOKING TO JERUSALEM OR SOMEWHERE OVER IN THE MIDDLE EAST! YOU ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD! LOOK TO YOURSELF! LOOK IN THE MIRROR! YOU HAVE JUST DISCOVERED THE ANTICHRIST!!! -Let the Lord consume the man of sin ( the spirit of antichrist ) inside of you with the brightness of His coming ( presence ). STOP LOOKING TO SOMETHING EXTERNAL! -LOOK TO YOURSELF!- THE MARK OF THE BEAST -Revelation 13:16-18 states, … And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six … -Many people down through history have come up with a bunch of crazy ideas about this passage of scripture. They lean on intellect and the natural mind to try to discern the things of God. This causes people to literalize things that are to be understood spiritually. -It is not a matter of taking the mark of the beast, but rather, it is an issue of getting rid of the mark ( of the beast ) that we already have, for we were born with the mark of the beast. WE HAVE THE MARK! It is not a literal mark, but a spiritual one. We are marked from birth with the beast nature ( or Adamic Nature ) that we inherited from Adam. In essence, it is the name of the beast that we have. The word “name” means nature. So … As we have stated, WE HAVE THE NATURE OF THE BEAST! Ephesians 2:3 states, … we are by nature the children of wrath … Ecclesiastes 3:18 states, … I said in my heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts … -We must realize that we are marked with the beast nature in our right hand and forehead. The words “right hand” speak of everything we do. The word “forehead” speaks of our mindset ( the carnal mind ), including everything we think and say … As we can see, it is our whole being that is marked with this fallen nature. -So … What is the solution? How do we get rid of ( overcome ) this mark? The answer is to be found in Revelation 14:1. It states, … And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father's name written in their foreheads … Can you grasp the spiritual implications of this? We must have the Father’s name written on our forehead! -The solution to the mark of the beast is to be found in pressing toward the MARK for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus ( Philippians 3:14 ). It is the mind of Christ that we need to replace the carnal mind. As well, it is the divine nature of our Heavenly Father that we need to replace our beast nature. The number six is the number of man and his achievements. With this being said, we can now see the significance of the number 666. It speaks of the full manifestation of the carnality of man. Can we see that God is bringing us from the carnal mind to the mind of Christ? This is our salvation process! Thank God that we are being delivered from the … -MARK OF THE BEAST!- The above taken from “THE GLORY OF GOD & THE HONOR OF KINGS” By Thomas Kissinger And "TENTMAKER" WEBSITE HOME PAGE |
